Located in a pretty hamlet just north of the Lot river in the stunning Lot region of south-west France - time stands still at beautiful Mas Sarrat.

The peaceful rhythm of life revolves gently around the slow turning of the seasons - a crop of new baby lambs, early spring blossom, the changing produce in the village markets, the lavender and bees announcing the arrival of summer and the ripening grapes and golden maize heralding the long, golden days of autumn.

About Us

Le Mas Sarrat has two charming self-catering holiday cottages and offers fun, child friendly holidays available solely to families with young children.

We are totally dedicated to providing you with everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable holiday with your family in this idyllic rural French setting.

In April and October 2018 we will also be hosting Adult pottery courses based in our new pottery workshop.

One of the joys of Mas Sarrat is that your holiday can be as active or peaceful as you choose.  In fact, many of our guests hardly leave our little hamlet, other than perhaps to stroll down to the delightful C15th village, Lherm, with its pretty square and lively local bar.  The Bar a Trucs serves delicious food in a relaxed, informal atmosphere at lunch time and in the evening and the friendly owners warmly welcome families, providing games and books to keep the children occupied whilst you enjoy a leisurely meal!u.

"How wonderful genuinely to find everything we needed for a family holiday with our children - from steriliser to stairgate, to books and a vast selection of toys.

The children particularly loved dressing up and feeding the animals and it was so good to see them grow in confidence in the swimming pool.  Mas Sarrat is a real gem - we've already booked for next year!..."

What a wonderful place.  Two relaxing weeks with happy children!  The boys loved animal feeding and cuddles with all things fluffy (and I managed to sneak some too with the delightful kittens!).
